The inspiration for Netroots UK, US activists’ mega-conference Netroots Nation is currently running in Providence, Rhode Island until 10 June. It’s a rather grander affair than Netroots UK, with thousands in attendance over four days of workshops, keynotes and debates.

Netroots Nation is over for another year now, but you can catch a lot of the highlights on video via the NN blog and at Free Speech TV. Here’s a video of the Netroots Inter(Nation)al session, with contributions from grassroots activists from around the world, including the UK.
Netroots Inter(nation)al: A new dimension in Minnesota
Fraternal greetings from the UK to everyone (and there are LOTS of them!) involved in this month’s main event Netroots Nation, taking place from 16th to 19th June in Minneapolis. There’s a huge amount happening over the four days, and lots of it will be streamed live, so check out www.netrootsnation.org for more on the programme.
Netroots UK types might be especially interested in following one of the sessions, Netroots Inter(nation)al: Working Together Across the Pond for Progressive Change. Looking at linking together to support international progressive activism, it’ll feature Sunny Hundal, Julielyn Gibbons, Matthew McGregor and Johann Ulvenlöv, who many people will remember from our event in January.
